Born and raised in Salem, Virginia, Charles spent much of his childhood on his family’s farm in Catawba, where he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, hard work, and time spent with family and friends. He is a proud 2016 graduate of Virginia Tech. 

Driven by a passion for helping others, he has held leadership roles in multiple volunteer organizations and currently serves as a Board Member for Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia. His financial career began as a Personal Banker, where he discovered the value of strong client relationships. Today, he is committed to expanding his ability to serve clients by oƯering more options and a full suite of comprehensive financial planning services. 

In 2024, Charles married his wife, Rocio, whose family lives throughout Colombia—something that has strengthened his love of travel, culture, and new experiences. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and exploring the great outdoors. 

Charles is an avid surf fisherman on the North Carolina coast and participates each year in the Cape Hatteras Angler’s Club Surf Fishing Tournament. He also enjoys trout fishing in mountain streams, spring gobbler and bird hunting, and deer hunting, and has been fortunate to travel out West for big game hunts and fly-fishing adventures in Montana, his favorite place to visit.
